Healing Rhythms Music Therapy, LLC is a dynamic team of passionate music therapists that work together to bring high-quality music and massage therapy services to people of all ages and abilities across 28+ counties across greater Minnesota.

Healing Rhythms Music Therapy, LLC is hiring a full-time music therapist (MT-BC) in Rochester, MN. This hourly employee position is 32-40 hours per week based in our free-standing clinic in Rochester, the home of Mayo Clinic. The caseload will be eclectic and includes: older adult groups, children and adults with neurodevelopmental disorders, mental health needs, and other community partnerships.

About You

The ideal candidate is ready to be an advocate and educate in the community about how we empower lives through music, and embrace a diverse caseload while providing high-quality services based in our state of-the-art free-standing music therapy clinic (newly opened in 2020 with over 3,000 square feet) and traveling to some clients in the Rochester area (30 mile radius). This position is for you if you are: passionate about music therapy with a variety of populations, a self-starter, highly motivated, excel in time management, handle change and flexibility with ease, able to work independently, excel in a fast-paced environment, have strong vocal and guitar skills and repertoire, can leverage technology in clinical practice, have excellent written and oral communication skills, and are a team player. This therapist must operate with honesty and integrity and represent the Healing Rhythms brand and values the team upholds.

The candidate must have a reliable vehicle and should be able to consistently meet the needs of a diverse patient population, and their families, while clearly articulating the clinical importance and purpose of services provided. NMT certification is preferred but not required.

Compensation

This is a full-time hourly and benefitted employee position with competitive pay and based on experience.
