Music To Grow On, Music Therapy Services, INC. in Sacramento, California has several positions available for Board Certified Music Therapists. Music To Grow On (MTGO) was established in 2000 to provide Music Therapy for individuals with special needs throughout Sacramento, Yolo, and Placer Counties. MTGO has remained committed to using music to assist individuals with special needs reach their fullest potential. MTGO continues to expand their vision and is establishing work with individuals and groups of all ages and abilities. MTGO contracts with 25+ school districts, two mental health facilities, two retirement communities, a handful of long-term care facilities and homes for adults with intellectual disabilities and serves private pay clients. MTGO is a mobile business based in West Sacramento, California serving facilities, schools, and individuals throughout Placer, Solano, Sacramento, El Dorado, and Yolo Counties. MTGO primarily provides services in person, however, about 10% of our clients are still seen virtually.
Over the last six months, we have seen a growing demand for music therapy services in our community. Referrals are coming in almost daily. We are looking to fill 3-5 positions to meet the growing demand for services.
