Alicia Bousner Hrubey, MM, LPMT, MT-BC (she/her/hers) is a board certified music therapist and the founder and Executive Director of In Harmony Therapeutic Services, a Cleveland, OH based not-for-profit private practice.

Alicia received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Mount Union in 2010 and a Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance from the Cleveland Institute of Music in 2012. She obtained her national board certification in music therapy through Baldwin Wallace University in 2017.

Alicia specializes in using music therapy with children and adolescents who have experienced trauma and is certified as a trauma-sensitive practitioner through Lesley University. In addition to trauma-informed supports, Alicia combines music therapy with individualized behavioral supports, restorative practices, and community building in her practice. She believes in a multimodal, individualized, whole-person approach – of which the foundation is a strong therapeutic relationship.

Alicia is a faculty member of the Cleveland Music Therapy Consortium at Baldwin Wallace University and serves as the Co-Chair of the Ohio Music Therapy Task Force. She joins the GLR-AMTA Executive Committee as Treasurer for the 2025 – 2027 term.
