Andy Panayides, MM, MT-BC is the Editor of Voice of the Lakes and an ex-officio member of the GLR Executive Committee. Andy received his bachelor’s degree in music technology from New York University in 2003. He completed his master’s degree in music therapy at University of Miami in 2013, where he also published a thesis entitled “The Role of Personality and Mood in Music-Use During a High-Cognitive Demand Task.”
Andy is employed as associate faculty for the music therapy program at I.U.P.U.I. He formerly served as Vice President of the Association for Indiana Music Therapy, as well as a member of the Indiana state task force. In addition, Andy worked several years as a music therapy director for an Indiana Medicaid waiver provider.
