Proposed GLR Bylaws Revisions

The GLR is committed to hearing the voices of all Board-Certified Music Therapists, students and interns living, working, and studying within our Region. We are interested in all voices being both informed and involved in the discussions that will shape the GLR’s actions in the coming months and years as we enter our own Strategic Planning.

Our general business meeting will be open to all.

However, based on the current GLR Bylaws, it is important to note that any voting that occurs during the meeting will only be done by current 2021 AMTA members. We value the unique perspectives brought to conversations and decisions by all our colleagues, both professionals, and students. We hope that our transparency and this invitation to the GLR Business Meeting to all within our region will help us continue our ongoing work in the GLR. We are committed to creating a culture where all can exist, engage, and flourish free of oppression and marginalization.
